Cae Gwyn Farm is an idyllic rural location that has a magnificent views of the Menai Straits, Anglesey and Snowdonia, perfect for every special occasions.
Set in 45 acre of Welsh farmland, Cae Gwyn Weddings is a family owned rustic marquee wedding location. Our peaceful rural location provides a perfect setting for an alternative wedding. There is approximately 1 acres of wedding field, an acre adjacent field for parking and plenty of room for your marquee, after party and tented village as camping is also available for you and your guests.
Location
We are located in Gwynedd, North Wales and just over a mile from Caernarfon Castle and the first farm on the left as you leave Caernarfon towards Bethel.
We are close enough to shops, restaurants and pubs but also far enough from the town.
The sun shines on the field throughout the day and sets towards Anglesey. You will be surrounded by stunning natural beauty with uninhibited seclusion and uninterrupted views of Snowdonia, Menai Straits and Anglesey.

If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil location to hold your special day, here at Cae Gwyn Wedding Venue in North Wales, you will find just that. No two weddings will ever be the same as you will have the freedom to choose your marquee, décor and catering options.
You can enjoy exclusive hire of the field with incredible views. It is up to you thereafter to create your dream wedding with this blank canvas that we are offering. We will be here every step of the way to advise and guide you.
A spacious marquee or tipi can be erected for your celebrations which can be customised to your own style wedding.
This beautiful view has been enjoyed by our family for over 70 years, we are excited to be sharing it with you.
How to book
Step 1. Arrange a viewing
Arrange a viewing and see the stunning location!
Step 2. Reserve your date
To book, a 25% non refundable deposit is required to secure your date.
Step 3. What we provide
Exclusive hire of the marquee location (access from Thursday until Monday) camping also available.
Catering - for menus please get in touch. Our menus are priced to includes the location hire. For smaller wedding a hire charge might apply.
Drink package example- A variety of welcome drinks on arrival, medium glass of wine with the meal, a glass of Prosecco with speeches.
Evening meal
Breakfast for campers.
Other things to consider not provided by us- marquee/tipi hire, generator, entertainment, photographers, bell tent hire etc.
We make an application to the local council for a Temporary Event Notice
Step 4. Complete your booking.
The remaining balance 75% must be paid 4 weeks prior to your event date.

Arlwyo cae gwyn catering and bar service
Arlwyo Cae Gwyn Catering and bar service is run and managed by partners Elen and Matthew. Elen has been a chef for almost 20 years having worked in many establishments around North Wales including The Quay Hotel, Deganwy.
Matthew is a keen chef and loves to cook authentic Thai and Indian curries made from scratch. Customers talk about the curries for days after events. He also has a passion for flame cooking and BBQ.
Elen and Matthew’s combination of cooking styles come together to form a harmonious unit that offers many mouthwatering options for customers.

Peak Marquee Hire specialise in wedding marquee hire throughout North Wales and the North West, you can also arrange your event through the medium of welsh with Haf!
They provide Frame and Pagoda marquees for any event, from weddings and casual drinks parties to corporate functions and trade stands.
Ty Glyndwr Bunkhouse and café/Bar
Ty Glyndwr is not just a hostel.... It's a fresh and modern hostel, café and bar within a Grade 2 listed Victorian building in the centre of the historical town of Caernarfon, North Wales. Individuals, groups and families are all welcome. Our café and basement bar stock local produce and host live music.
